About this file

This is a Bid Scope Materials List for a residential rehabilitation project in Escambia County, Florida, specifically for 441 Twin Lakes Drive, with oversight from the Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA). The project encompasses comprehensive home renovation including kitchen fixtures (double-bowl aluminum sink, Delta Savile faucet, GE range and cooktop, GE microwave, and Broan hood vent), bathroom fixtures (ceramic vanity sink, Delta faucets, American Standard tub and toilet, Sterling tub surround, Aquatic shower, and Broan exhaust fan), appliances (Whirlpool refrigerator and A.O. Smith water heater), flooring (Shaw LVP and carpet), lighting (Commercial Electric, Hampton Bay, and Hunter fixtures with LED bulbs), roofing (CertainTeed Landmark shingles), gutters (6-inch aluminum with 4-inch downspouts), and windows with HVAC systems. The project specifications require new braided supply lines for plumbing, putty and caulk finishes for trim, drywall tape and mud with texture and paint, EnergyStar-approved appliances, square-edged laminate countertops with 4-inch backsplash, and plywood or better cabinetry with solid hardwood fronts and side-mounted drawer guides.

Bids must be submitted through OPENGOV only and are limited to licensed, general contractors in good standing with Escambia County, with new contractors required to submit a letter of insurability. The County reserves the right to award line items individually for emergency services limited to roofing and septic/sewer work. All contractors are responsible for moving furniture and protecting all surfaces and homeowner property from damage, and must use like, similar, or equal-valued products where specified brands are listed. Contact Scott Sanchez, NED, at 850-595-0827 or jssanchez@myescambia.com for additional project information.
