Bid Scope Materials List Summary

This is a Bid Scope Materials List for a residential rehabilitation project managed by Escambia County, Florida, specifically for a property located at 2217 N. L Street. The scope encompasses comprehensive home renovation materials and specifications across multiple systems including kitchen appliances (sink, faucet, range, cooktop, microwave, hood vent, and refrigerator), bathroom fixtures (vanity sink, faucets, tub, shower, toilet, and exhaust fan), flooring (luxury vinyl plank and carpet), HVAC systems, water heating, lighting fixtures, roofing, gutters, and windows. The project is open to licensed and insured general contractors in good standing with Escambia County, with new county contractors required to submit a letter of insurability. Only bids submitted through OPENGOV will be accepted. Escambia County reserves the right to award line items individually for emergency services limited to roofing and septic/sewer work.

The materials specification list identifies specific manufacturer brands and models for substantially all fixtures and appliances, with requirements that all electrical appliances meet EnergyStar standards with LED bulbs and all products be like, similar, or equal in value to those specified. Work standards require new braided supply lines for plumbing repairs, putty and caulk for trim work, proper drywall finishing with tape and mud, drywall repair for electrical work, laminate countertops with four-inch backsplashes, and cabinetry constructed of plywood or better with solid hardwood fronts. All surfaces and homeowner property must be protected from damage, and furniture movement is the contractor's responsibility. Interested contractors should contact Scott Sanchez at Escambia County's NED (New Escambia Development) division at 850-595-0827 or jssanchez@myescambia.com for additional information.
