About this file

The document is a Bid Scope Materials List for a home rehabilitation project in Escambia County, Florida, specifically for a property located at 124 Millet Circle. The scope details a comprehensive residential renovation that includes specific appliance and fixture specifications for kitchen, bathroom, and general home improvements. The project is managed by the NED (Neighborhood Enterprise Division) and requires licensed, insured general contractors to submit bids through the OPENGOV platform, with contact person Scott Sanchez available for questions.

The bid scope includes detailed specifications for multiple home components, such as kitchen fixtures (GE range, cooktop, microwave), appliances (Whirlpool refrigerator), bathroom fixtures (Delta faucets, American Standard toilet), flooring (Shaw LVP and carpet), lighting (Hampton Bay), roofing (CertainTeed), and HVAC components. The contract emphasizes specific requirements for materials and installation, mandating that all electrical appliances be EnergyStar approved, cabinetry be constructed of plywood with hardwood fronts, and contractors use like or equal valued products. The county reserves the right to award line items separately, with particular focus on emergency services like roofing and septic/sewer repairs.
