About this file
This is a Bid Scope Materials List for a residential rehabilitation project managed by Escambia County, Florida, specifically for 2414 W. Moreno Street. The scope encompasses comprehensive home renovation including kitchen appliances (Delta faucet, GE range and cooktop, Whirlpool refrigerator, Broan hood vent), bathroom fixtures (Delta and American Standard faucets, American Standard toilet, Sterling tub surround, Aquatic shower), flooring (Shaw LVP and carpet), HVAC equipment, lighting fixtures (Hampton Bay and Commercial Electric fixtures with LED bulbs), roofing (CertainTeed Landmark), guttering, windows, and a 50-gallon A.O. Smith water heater. The project requires adherence to specific installation standards including the use of braided supply lines for plumbing, proper finishing for trim and drywall work, square-edged laminate countertops with 4-inch backsplash, and cabinetry constructed of plywood or better with solid hardwood fronts and no particle board. All electrical appliances must be ENERGY STAR approved with LED bulbs.
Licensed and insured general contractors in good standing with Escambia County are eligible to bid, with new county contractors required to submit a letter of insurability. Bids must be submitted through OPENGOV only. The County reserves the right to award line items individually for emergency services limited to roofing and septic/sewer work. Contractors are obligated to use products that are like, similar, or equal in value to those specified and bear responsibility for protecting all surfaces, furniture, and homeowner property from damage. Questions should be directed to Scott Sanchez at the NED office via phone (850-595-0827) or email (jssanchez@myescambia.com).
