About this file
This is a Bid Scope Materials List for a residential rehabilitation project located at 203 Frisco Road in Escambia County, Florida, administered by the Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA). The scope encompasses comprehensive home rehabilitation work including kitchen, bathroom, and general home systems upgrades. Specific materials are listed with manufacturer names and model numbers across multiple categories: kitchen appliances (sink, faucet, range, cooktop, microwave, hood vent, and refrigerator); bathroom fixtures (vanity sink, faucet, tub, shower, toilet, and exhaust fan); flooring materials (luxury vinyl plank and carpet); HVAC and hot water systems; lighting fixtures; roofing; gutters; and windows. The project requires contractors to perform installation work according to detailed specifications including braided supply lines for plumbing, finishing work for trim and drywall, and specific construction standards for cabinetry using plywood or better with solid hardwood fronts and no particle board. All electrical appliances must be ENERGY STAR approved with LED bulbs, and contractors are required to protect all property from damage during work.
Licensed and insured general contractors in good standing with Escambia County are eligible to bid on this work, with new county contractors required to submit a letter of insurability. The County may award line items individually for emergency services limited to roofing and septic/sewer work. All bids must be submitted through OPENGOV. Contractors are obligated to use like, similar, or equal valued products when the specified items are unavailable, and contractors are responsible for moving furniture while homeowners retain responsibility for contents. Contact Scott Sanchez, NED, at 850-595-0827 or jssanchez@myescambia.com for questions regarding the project.
