About this file
This is a Bid Scope Materials List for a residential rehabilitation project located at 311 W. Park Lane in Escambia County, Florida, managed by the Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) under the oversight of Scott Sanchez, NED. The project encompasses comprehensive home rehabilitation including kitchen and bathroom fixtures, appliances, flooring, roofing materials, HVAC systems, electrical components, and plumbing supplies. Specific brand and model requirements are detailed for all major items, including kitchen fixtures (Delta faucets, GE appliances), bathroom components (American Standard and Delta fixtures), flooring (Shaw products), and roofing materials (CertainTeed Landmark). The scope includes installation standards requiring new braided supply lines for plumbing, proper finishing techniques for trim and drywall, square-edged laminate countertops with 4-inch backsplashes, and plywood or better cabinetry with solid hardwood fronts. All electrical appliances must be EnergyStar approved with LED bulbs. Bids must be submitted through OPENGOV, and only licensed, insured contractors in good standing with Escambia County are eligible to participate.
Escambia County may award line items individually for emergency services limited to roofing and septic or sewer work. New county contractors must submit a letter of insurability documenting compliance with insurance and licensing requirements. The contractor is responsible for moving furniture while the homeowner retains responsibility for its contents. All work requires protection of existing surfaces and property from damage, and contractors must use like, similar, or equal valued products as specified in the scope. Contact information for questions is provided through Scott Sanchez at 850-595-0827 or jssanchez@myescambia.com.
