About this file
This is a Bid Schedule for rangeland herbicide application services at Trail Creek for the Bureau of Land Management Idaho Region. The solicitation (140L2626Q0043) requires an early post-emergent herbicide application across 1,026 acres with an estimated start date of September 28, 2026, and an estimated application date of October 1, 2026. The period of performance is 34 days, including holidays and weekends, with contractors required to begin work within three days of notification by the Contracting Officer Representative.
The scope of work consists of three line items: herbicide application across 1,026 acres at a unit rate to be priced by bidders, supply of Imazapic at 7 ounces per acre (56 gallons total), and non-ionic surfactant at 2 ounces per acre (17 gallons total). The contractor must supply all chemicals and apply them at the specified rates or manufacturer's recommended rates, with water carrier provided at five gallons per acre. Work is contingent on soil and weather conditions, and the contract will not proceed if conditions risk damage to soil or non-target vegetation. The bid is structured on an all-or-none basis, requiring bidders to provide unit prices for the application service and each chemical component to establish total contract costs.
