About this file
The document is a Scope of Work for Bid S-25-25, issued by the City of Cheyenne, Wyoming, for the Spiker Garage Interior Painting Project - Rebid. The project involves comprehensive interior painting of the Spiker parking garage, including walls, ceilings, stairwells, and elevator lobbies across four floors. Specific painting requirements include preparing and priming concrete surfaces, applying approved paint products from Sherwin Williams and Diamond Vogel, and painting walls, ceilings, hand rails, exhaust/intake grills, and staircase components. The painting work is scheduled to commence after contract award, with work on parking floors to be completed by July 18, 2025, and remaining areas to be finished by September 30, 2025.
The City intends to award the contract with flexibility to fund different components of the project based on available resources. The bid includes three schedules: Garage Walls Only, Garage Ceilings Only, and Stairwells and Elevator Lobbies Only. Bidders must submit a 5% bid bond, a non-collusion affidavit, and a list of subcontractors and material suppliers. The awarded contractor will need to provide a performance/payment bond, certificates of good standing for workers' and unemployment compensation, and a certificate of insurance naming the City of Cheyenne as an additional insured. The City will select the bid schedule that is in the best interest of the city, prioritizing the lowest bidder across the three potential project scopes.
