Summary of Bid Notification for Manitou Cloud Services

This is a bid notification document issued by the State of Texas for Manitou Cloud Services procurement. The notification alerts potential bidders to an upcoming contract opportunity and invites qualified vendors to submit proposals. The document outlines the procurement process and establishes key timelines for interested parties to review specifications, prepare bids, and submit responses. The exact scope of services, quantities, response deadlines, and contract term details would be contained within the referenced solicitation documents that bidders are directed to access through the appropriate state procurement portal or purchasing office.

The bid notification serves as an announcement mechanism to ensure competitive bidding and broad vendor participation in the state's cloud services acquisition. Additional information regarding pricing requirements, small business set-asides, incumbent contractor status, budget allocations, and funding sources would be detailed in the full solicitation documents and any related exhibits or addenda. USE OF NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF GOVERNMENTAL PURCHASING CODE

The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) uses the National Institute of governmental Purchasing, Inc., (NIGP) code to standardize purchases by conforming to the class, item, and group structure of the code. The NIGP code is used to select vendors for our master vendor file from the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts (CPA) Centralized Master Bidders List (CMBL).

New suppliers and other vendors wishing to furnish materials, equipment, supplies and services to TxDOT should apply to be on the CMBL to receive bidding opportunities.

Existing TxDOT vendors need only be concerned that the information listed on the CMBL file is correct, and that the applicable NIGP class and item are selected for those you can provide.

CMBL information is available online at: https://comptroller.texas.gov/purchasing/vendor/cmbl/ or by phoning 512-463-3459.
