About this file

This is a Request for Quote (RFQ) solicitation memorandum from the Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Institution, Atlanta.

The Federal Correctional Institution, Atlanta is seeking quarterly subsistence food products for facility operations. Quoters must include their Unique Entity Identifier (UEI) number with their offers, and the Contracting Officer will verify registration in the System For Award Management (SAM) database prior to award. Failure to complete SAM registration may result in elimination from consideration. All quoted items must meet specifications as stated; if offerors propose alternate items or change package sizing or quantity, they must make a notation on the bid sheet, or they will be required to honor the original quoted price without modification. The government emphasizes that awarded vendors are required to provide items at their quoted prices; last-minute price increases will result in limited future solicitation opportunities for that vendor. Quotes must be received by Friday, September 4, 2026, by 4:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time via email to l3butler@bop.gov, pacrowell@bop.gov, or Tpooler@bop.gov. Quotes submitted to any other location or after the deadline will not be considered. Questions should be directed to l3butler@bop.gov or pacrowell@bop.gov, and the government will provide responses where appropriate.
