Summary of Bid Invitation for Plumbing Contractor Services

This is a Bid Invitation issued by Galena Park Consolidated Independent School District (GCCISD) in Texas for Plumbing Contractor Services on an Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) basis. The district is soliciting proposals from qualified plumbing contractors to provide maintenance, repair, and installation services for the school district's plumbing systems across its facilities. The IDIQ contract structure allows the district to place task orders as needed throughout the contract term without committing to a specific volume of work upfront. Interested bidders are required to submit their proposals by the stated deadline, with awards anticipated following the evaluation of submitted bids. The contract will be established for an initial term with potential renewal options to be exercised at the district's discretion.

The pricing for plumbing services will be based on the bidding contractor's submitted rates and cost proposals, which will be evaluated for competitiveness and value. Specific pricing terms, payment structures, and any volume commitments or discounts for larger task orders should be detailed in the bid documents. The contract may include set-asides for small businesses or minority-owned enterprises if applicable under Texas procurement regulations. All work will be performed at GCCISD facilities as directed through individual task orders issued during the contract period, with funding sourced from the district's operating budget allocated for facilities maintenance and repairs.

6. The district reserves the right to revise or amend the specifications prior to the date set for opening responses. Should the vendor find discrepancies in, or omissions from the specifications or other documents, or should be in doubt as to their meaning, they should immediately notify the purchasing department and obtain a clarification prior to submitting a response.
