About this file

This document is a Notice of Bid Cancellation issued by Eugene Water & Electric Board (EWEB) for the Coburg Substation Transformer Installation project under ITB No. 24-182-PW, dated October 2, 2024. EWEB has determined that cancelling this solicitation is in its best interest due to a lack of bids within an acceptable financial range relative to the planned project budget. The agency intends to review and potentially revise the scope of work to reduce project requirements and re-bid the work within approximately two weeks of the cancellation notice. The cancellation is effective immediately and is made in accordance with EWEB Rule 5-0440.

No specific pricing information, set-asides, incumbent vendors, or other contract terms are detailed in this cancellation notice. The document serves solely as notification that the original solicitation has been withdrawn and will be reissued with a potentially modified scope of work to align with budgetary constraints and attract responsive bids within acceptable cost parameters.
