About this file
This is a Printing Services Bid Request issued by the Department of Technology, Management & Budget for temporary registration permits. The project requires the production of 125,000 BFS-50 Temporary 30-60 Day Registration Permits with a finished size of 12" x 5-11/16". The permits must feature a void pantagraph design approved by the Department of State Investigations, with sequential numbering from 213001E to 338000E (pending confirmation). Key specifications include red PMS-202 light-fast ink for the panograph, a white validation box without void feature, month/day/year boxes screened to 20%, and hidden word security features. Sequential numbers must appear in black on the permit face in large jumbo bold font, with corresponding red penetrating ink numbers on the back. All permits must be shrink-wrapped in packages of 50, arranged vertically in sequence with the smallest number on top, and packaged in labeled cartons. A PDF color proof is required for approval prior to production, and vendors must submit detailed quote letters with their bids or face disqualification.
The bid will be awarded based on best price and value to the state, with the lowest bidder not guaranteed selection if quality concerns or requirement fulfillment issues exist. Only prequalified vendors are eligible for consideration. The cover stock specified is 65# uncoated cover printed in black and PMS-202 red ink with bleeds. Specific permit numbering details are to be confirmed, and a sample with proof submission is required as part of the bidding process.
