STATEMENT OF WORK
Bldg 801 and Bldg 736 Storm Elliott Repairs
(BKTZ 232-001)
29 December 2022
1.0 STATEMENT OF WORK
1.1. The contractor shall provide, unless otherwise noted, all management, tools, equipment, transportation, supervision, and labor necessary to repair the facilities as shown on contract drawings, Nashville, International Airport (IAP) Repair building 736 (B736) and building 801 (B801), Attachment 1, hereinafter referred to as "plans". Contractor shall perform all work in accordance with this Statement of Work (SOW) and the plans. Contractor shall coordinate all work with the Contracting Officer and Civil Engineer office and is subject to the work schedule as stated in this document. Upon completion, the facility must be complete and usable for entire base populace.
1.2. These requirements, together with the technical specifications, standards, and drawings specified in the contract documents, cover the requirements for all work associated with Repair B736 and B801, Nashville IAP. The following is a general description of the work involved:
1.3. Provide all material and services required to perform the following services:
1.3.1. Supply and install chair rail l in corridor of building 801 and paint
1.3.2. Demolish, Furnish and install HM door frame and wood door
1.3.3. Demolish, furnish, and install gypsum board with mudding, taping, and finishes
1.3.4. Furnish and install insulation
1.3.5. Match existing ceiling tile in areas tiles are missing. Furnish and Install tiles.
1.3.6. Prime and paint areas shown in plans
1.3.7. Demolish, furnish and install vinyl wall covering shown in rooms on plans
1.3.8. Demolish, furnish, and install Mannington #4 carpet in rooms on plans
1.3.9. Demolish, furnish and install rubber base in all rooms where flooring is installed
1.3.10. Furnish and install enhancer rubber backing for carpet in B801
1.3.11. Furnish and install Mannington Natures Path LVT in B736
1.3.12. Furnish and install two coats of wax on all new VCT flooring
1.3.13. Furnish and install 180 linear feet of HVAC Ductwork Insulation (6 VAV boxes 15 liner feet per side per box)
1.3.14. Paint existing doors and frames in all areas being worked in per drawings.
1.3.15. Paint existing Chair Rails located in Building 801
1.3.16. Add/replace ceiling tile support bars and affix ceiling mounted electrical fixtures in both buildings
1.3.17. Affix wall mounted electrical outlets and communication outlets.
2.0 SPECIFICATIONS – B736 and B801 Repairs: Contractor SHALL comply with the following items:
2.1. Work shall be performed as shown on the drawings and as described in this document.
2.1.1. Contractor will provide material for and perform all work to repair and replace damaged interior walls, flooring, and insulation. Installation of interior walls, doors, base board, and flooring with associated connections and fittings. The contractor must submit dust/debris plan (see attached AF66) that describes measures to prevent the entrance of dust/debris in the areas where work is to be performed. Contractor must provide submittals of materials to the Civil Engineer. (See Submittals Section Below.)
2.1.2. All materials shall meet or exceed all applicable referenced standards, local requirements, and conform to codes and ordinances of authorities having jurisdiction.
2.1.3. Prepare work site it is ready to receive work and that opening dimensions are as indicated on shop drawings.
2.1.4. Coordinate with base authorities to obtain all passes required to enter the work site.
2.2. MATERIALS:
2.2.1. Provide factory assembled gypsum board, floor base, Mannington carpet, drywall, paint, vinyl wall covering, and all associated fittings and connections.
2.3. .INSTALLATION:
2.3.1. Installation shall meet or exceed all applicable federal, state and local requirements, referenced standards and conform to codes and ordinances of authorities having jurisdiction.
2.3.2. All installation shall be in accordance with manufacturer’s published recommendations.
2.3.3. Contractor shall furnish all parts and assembly during construction. The Contractor shall install all equipment in accordance with manufacturer’s specifications and guidelines.
2.4. PRODUCTS
2.4.1. GENERAL: All materials shall meet or exceed all applicable referenced standards, local requirements, and conform to codes and ordinances of authorities having jurisdiction. Contractor must provide submittals of materials to the Civil Engineer. (See Submittals Section Below.)
2.5. EXECUTION
2.5.1. INSTALLATION:
2.5.1.1. Installation shall meet or exceed all applicable federal, state and local requirements, referenced standards and conform to codes and ordinances of authorities having jurisdiction.
2.5.1.2. All installation shall be in accordance with manufacturer’s published recommendations.
2.5.1.3. Contractor shall furnish all parts and assembly during construction. The Contractor shall install all equipment in accordance with manufacturer’s specifications and guidelines.
2.5.1.4. FIELD QUALITY CONTROL:
2.5.1.4.1. Ensure all manufacturer’s suggested installation requirements are met.
3.0 SPECIFICATIONS – B801 and B736 repairs: Contractor SHALL comply with the following items:
3.1. PART 1 – GENERAL
3.1.1. SUMMARY: Perform all work to provide material, transport, and perform all work to construct and repair a fully functional administrative office space complete with all floor coverings, drywall, wall coverings, drop ceiling tile, base board, HVAC insulation, and as dictated by the design drawings (see attached design drawings). Contractor must submit dust/debris plan and cleaning plan that describes measures to prevent the entrance of dust/debris in the areas where work is to be performed.
3.1.2. SUBMITTALS: Manufacturer's product literature, data, and warranty information.
3.2. PRODUCTS
3.2.1. All materials shall meet or exceed all applicable referenced standards, local requirements, and conform to codes and ordinances of authorities having jurisdiction.
3.2.2. MATERIALS:
3.2.2.1. Gypsum Wall Board
3.2.2.2. Rubber Floor Base
3.2.2.3. Paint
3.2.2.4. Ceiling Tile
3.2.2.5. Ceiling Tile Support Bars
3.2.2.6. Carpet Flooring-Mannington #4
3.2.2.7. Mannington Natures Path luxury vinyl tile
3.2.2.8. Wall insulation
3.2.2.9. HVAC Duct and VAV Box Insulation
