This is a Request for Quotation (RFQ) issued by the Ohio Department of Natural Resources for trail improvements at Barkcamp State Park. The project involves constructing approximately 1,800 linear feet of natural surface hiking trail as part of the Pioneer Village Trail Improvements initiative. The scope of work includes removing deteriorated asphalt, expanding the trail to a finished width of 48 inches throughout, and replacing an existing elevated walkway with a 48-inch half culvert with cohesive fill. The trail comprises two sections: one in an open grass area near the historical Mail Pouch barn and another through the adjacent wooded area. Upon completion, the trail will be a non-motorized, all-weather natural surface path suitable for all abilities, including wheelchair accessibility, with interpretive signage along the route. No storm water permits or other construction permits are anticipated for this upland trail project. The file does not specify response dates, due dates, site visits, bidder meetings, award dates, or contract terms.

The document does not contain detailed information regarding pricing terms, bid amounts, set-asides, incumbent contractors, or specific funding sources and amounts. Additional details necessary for potential bidders—including project budget, bonding requirements, insurance specifications, and submission procedures—are referenced as being available in the attached full scope of work documentation but are not included in this excerpt.
