About this file
This document is a solicitation from Dickinson State University seeking bids to replace the existing scoreboard and video display at the Biesiot Activities Center in Dickinson, North Dakota. The project involves removing the current 12'x21' scoreboard and installing a new larger video scoreboard measuring approximately 16'x30', while reusing the existing primary structure with necessary modifications. The scope includes replacing or reusing the existing ID panel and sound system, installing new play clocks, control system, software, and licensing, and providing wiring for data and power. Sealed bids are due by June 24, 2025, with the vendor responsible for a preliminary walkthrough to assess electrical and data infrastructure, equipment storage, removal and disposal of existing equipment, and installation of new components.
The solicitation requires the vendor to handle comprehensive installation services, including equipment acceptance, lifting, unloading, inspection, and testing. Optional elements include a new audio system, live score bug equipment, radio equipment installation, and 3rd party stats integration with Genius/NCAA Live Stats or Presto Sports. The university will provide storage assistance where possible, and the vendor must manage building penetrations, resealing existing areas, and negotiating any additional penetration requirements. While specific pricing details are not provided, the document indicates a comprehensive turnkey project with multiple technical requirements for scoreboard replacement and associated electronic systems.
