About this file
This document is a Build America, Buy America (BABA) Certification Form issued by the City of Fort Myers Procurement Services for a Public Art Consultant project. The form requires contractors to certify compliance with federal procurement regulations mandating the use of iron, steel, manufactured products, and construction materials produced in the United States, as specified in the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act passed on November 15, 2021.
The certification form obligates potential contractors to identify domestic sources of BABA-covered products, provide verification documentation, and submit waiver documentation when necessary. Contractors must affirm their understanding that false statements on the certification may result in rejection or termination of the contract. The form provides a space for contractors to sign, print their name and title, provide company information, contact details, and formally acknowledge their commitment to the Buy America, Buy America provisions for federally funded projects involving construction, alteration, maintenance, or repairs.
