About this file
This is an Office Automation Form for the City of Philadelphia's Information Technology Department, detailing equipment procurement and service requirements for flash drives and related IT hardware. The City requires vendors to deliver all equipment via inside delivery to designated loading docks, with installation and configuration services provided at no additional cost unless otherwise specified. Vendors must submit product literature upon request. The procurement encompasses desktop and IT appliance equipment with configuration completed either by the vendor or at the City's location, contingent on vendor selection and platform specifications.
The City mandates extended warranty coverage with minimum terms of five years for servers and IT appliances, four years for PCs and laptops, and three years for tablets, with coverage commencing after a 30 to 120-day acceptance period. On-site maintenance is required with next-day response capability including all parts and labor, with payment due following equipment delivery and acceptance. Vendors may offer either three-year or five-year maintenance options. The City will accept refurbished equipment contingent on vendor approval. Instruction and training by the vendor are requested as part of the procurement requirements, ensuring departmental staff receive adequate instruction on the delivered equipment.
