About this file

The document is a vendor response form for Bid B25-0005 issued by the Center for Instruction, Technology & Innovation (CiTi) in New York, soliciting bids for musical instruments with service components. This is a one-time procurement covering 23 separate lots of musical instruments across brass, woodwind, string, and keyboard categories, including baritones, cornets, euphoniums, French horns, trombones, trumpets, tubas, pianos, cellos, basses, guitars, violas, violins, bassoons, clarinets, flutes, oboes, piccolos, and saxophones. The bid allows vendors to submit pricing for individual instrument lots and across four different geographic regions, with no requirement to bid on all lots or regions.

The bid structure requires vendors to provide manufacturer list prices, specify discount or cost-plus percentages, and declare service component charges (either as a flat fee or percentage upcharge) for each instrument lot and region. Vendors must indicate whether they are offering the exact specified instrument or a substitute, and provide delivery timeframes. The service component is mandatory, and bidders unable to provide service will be disqualified. Each lot requires vendors to specify the list price type (e.g., website price, MSRP) to which discounts or cost-plus percentages will be applied, with percentages limited to whole numbers or numbers with one decimal point. The bid emphasizes flexibility, allowing partial bidding and regional variations in pricing and service offerings.
