SOURCES SOUGHT INFORMATION

Sources Sought No.: N6945024R0057 B2080 Renovation of Galley, Emergency Department and Pharmacy at the NAS Jacksonville, FL Attachment 2

1. DDC (Direct Digital Controls) System, HVAC Controls. (2 pages Maximum):

Provide a list of commercially available HVAC controllers manufactured and installed by your organization, that are compatible with Johnson Controls Metasys; DDC (Direct Digital Controls) System.

The procurement for B2080 includes Design, Engineering and Construction Services, and integration of Personal Property and Transition Services required for the renovation of the following departments: Emergency, Morgue, Security, Galley, Kitchen, Nutritional Counseling, Inpatient Pharmacy, ENT Balance Lab, Sleep Disorder Services, Biomedical Engineering, Outpatient Behavioral Health, all located within existing Hospital Building 2080 at NAS Jacksonville, FL.

The current hospital-wide Building Automation System; DDC (Direct Digital Controls), is Johnson Controls Metasys System. The existing BAS monitors and it controls HVAC operations, energy consumption, and trends. The system is also used to monitor other Naval medical facilities.

The project will integrate the renovated areas into the facility's existing BACnet protocol interface network utilized by the existing Johnson Controls Metasys system.

The new DDC system will provide real-time monitoring and control of the HVAC system for efficient operation, energy conservation, and immediate maintenance alerts. All DDC points and alarms will be accessible from the existing computer workstation.

To ensure consistency, standardization and interoperability, and to maintain a single point of control, the building automation system must be expanded by utilizing controllers compatible with existing Johnson Controls Metasys System. The existing system programming will need to be updated to accommodate new devices. It is crucial to ensure compatibility so that the existing system's functionality and certifications are not compromised, avoiding the need for extensive reprogramming, cybersecurity recertification, and user retraining.

Include the following information for each HVAC controller:

1. Model Number, Catalog Number, Code Number, or equivalent model designation

1. Product Description

1. Manufacturer's technical data sheets.

1. Experience (3 pages Maximum):

Identify one (1) to three (3) projects where HVAC controllers had fully integrated with existing NAS Jacksonville, FL Naval Hospital Building Automation System; DDC (Direct Digital Controls). For each project, provide the customer point of contact including name, phone number, and email, and a narrative description of the product/services provided by your organization. Also provide project title, project location (city/state), procurement contract number, and contract value, if available.
