(adjustable) until the main return air temperature is equal or above the overcooled set-point temperature. Supply air set-point and supply active set-point shall be shown on the graphics.

c) Supply Temperature Reset for Winter Heating: The supply air leaving temperature set-point “active set-point” shall increase +10°F while the outside air temperature is below

55°F (adjustable). Supply air set-point and supply active set-point shall be shown on the graphics.

d) Occupied default temperature setpoint: It is the temperature set-point after the system switch from unoccupied to occupied mode. It shall be 76°F adjustable for all VAV boxes thermostats. Occupied default temperature set-point shall be shown on the graphics.

e) Multi-Zone Variable Air Volume Systems:

In the Pre-Occupied Mode, the system shall operate identical to the Occupied Mode except that the OA Loop shall be disabled.

In the Occupied Mode, the VAV zone temperature set-point (adjustable) shall be set at the occupant-adjustable set-point via the wall-mounted thermostat and the zone relative humidity set-point shall be maintained at or below the relative humidity upper limit set-point (adjustable). The supply fan shall be enabled and commanded to run, and all control loops shall be enabled.

In the Unoccupied Mode, the OA Loop shall be disabled, and the zone temperature set-point shall be at the unoccupied configured set-point (adjustable). While the average of zone temperatures is equal or less than the configured set-point (adjustable) and the average of zone relative humidity is equal or less than the relative humidity upper limit set-point

(adjustable), the supply fan and all control loops shall be disabled. If either the average zone temperature is greater than the unoccupied configured set-point, or the zone average relative humidity is greater than the relative humidity upper limit set-point, then the supply fan shall be enabled and commanded to run, the Cooling Coil Loop shall be enabled, and

Dehumidification Control Loop shall be enabled.

In the OFF Mode, the supply fan and all control loops shall be off.

f) Zone Temperature Control, VAV boxes: VAVs maximum and minimum airflows (CFM) shall be adjustable values.

Occupied: When this loop is enabled, and in cooling mode, the DDC Hardware shall maintain the coil leaving supply air temperature at set-point (adjustable) by staging the cooling coil chilled water valve.

The zone temperature set-point shall be at the configured set-point (adj) or at the occupant-adjustable set-point via the wall-mounted thermostat. The heating temperature set-point (adj) will be input to the DDC with a setting independent of the cooling set-point with the recommended initial input set to 62°F. The DDC Hardware shall modulate the VAV box damper to maintain VAV box supply air flow at set-point as measured by a multi-point flow sensing element at the inlet to the VAV box. Sequencing shall be as follows:

Upon a rise in zone temperature above zone temperature set-point (adj), the airflow set-point shall be adjusted between minimum and maximum flow based on the difference between zone temperature and zone temperature set-point (adj).

Upon a fall in zone temperature between zone temperature set-point (adj) and zone heating set-point (adj), the airflow shall be maintained at the fixed schedule minimum air flow set-point.

Upon a fall in zone temperature below zone heating set-point (adj) initially set at 62°F

(adj), the airflow shall be maintained at the fixed schedule minimum air flow set-point and the electric resistance heating will be enabled. The discharge air temperature for heating will not exceed 85°F.

Unoccupied: Same as occupied mode except that the zone temperature set-point shall be at the configured set-point for the Unoccupied Mode as shown or indicated and any VAV box. The winter heating mode is disabled in unoccupied mode.

g) OA loop – CO2: The DDC shall actively modulate the OA flow during occupied mode, according to CO2 measurements. Place a single CO2 sensor in the main RA duct.

Zero occupants plus the appropriate CFM / SF shall determine the minimum OA flow value for all zones served, plus the OA required for all exhausts in the zones served and pressurization. The maximum OA flow value shall be determined from the Outside Air schedule. The OA shall be linearly varied between a minimum OA flow values for CO2 less than or equal to 600 ppm to the maximum OA flow value for CO2 greater than 1,000 ppm. The OA duct shall be sized for, and the OA manual volume damper shall be balanced to, obtain the highest OA flow at the lowest AHU supply air volume with the OA modulating damper at the 100% open position.

h) Default temperatures set points:
