About this file

This document is a Questions and Answers (Q&A) for Solicitation W50S94-25-Q-0007, dated 25 July 2025, focusing on a video surveillance system procurement. The solicitation seeks a standalone 16-channel NVR/DVR system with specific requirements including 1080p minimum camera resolution, 20TB storage capacity, 30-day footage retention, and installation on cinderblock walls with cameras mounted up to 20 feet high. The system will utilize existing conduits and wireless PoE Point-to-Point Bridges, with installation personnel escorted by badged personnel.

Key technical specifications include a 42" LG Flatron LCD monitor, UPS for graceful shutdown, 48-hour internal battery backup, and a maximum cable run of 300 feet. The budget is $15-20k, with a requested delivery timeline of 90 days after order receipt. The system cannot tie into DODIN/AFNET networks but can interface with existing monitors. Security considerations include potential BCI clearance for independent work, and no specific exterior mounting constraints were noted. The procurement appears to be for a federal agency, though the specific agency is not explicitly stated in the document.
