About this file

This document is a detailed tree work attachment for the Frederick Law Olmsted National Historic Site (FRLA), specifying tree removal and pruning requirements. The attachment lists 6 tree removals and 10 pruning tasks, including specific tree species (such as American Linden, Norway Maple, White Pine, Sugar Maple, Red Oak, and Tulip Poplar), their diameter at breast height, and precise location-based instructions. Tree work includes complete removals of trees with issues like leaning, severe decay, invasive species status, and deadwood, as well as strategic pruning to address structural concerns, remove overhead hazards, and improve tree health. The document includes accompanying photographs (image1.jpeg through image18.jpg) documenting the trees and their conditions, with all work to be performed at the Southeast corner of the property, near Warren Street and a driveway. Stump grinding to 18 inches below grade is also specified for removed trees.
