The scope of work requires annual preventative maintenance performed in accordance with industry standard practices, including comprehensive inspections of cooling systems, electrical systems (both DC and AC), air induction and exhaust systems, lubrication systems, fuel systems, and engine linkages for each generator. Transfer switch services include mechanical inspection, lubrication, interlocking verification, contact inspection and dressing, insulation and contact resistance testing, and operational simulation in both directions. Load bank testing must be conducted at 80 percent or greater of generator capacity for a minimum of two hours per generator annually to eliminate wet stacking residue. The contract period consists of one base year (June 1, 2026 – May 31, 2027) and four optional years exercisable based on contractor performance.
