It would cover 4 exterior units, 4 wall mounted units, possible boiler upgrades, a new control system and all supportive duct, vent, fan and electrical work. Any other needs for the system not mentioned or supportive work not mentioned will also be considered and fleshed out during the site visit.

A site visit will be performed for planning and staging preparations.

Then installation will be carried out in its entirety from design to fully installed and operational.

The historic fabric of the space must be considered. Drilling into or boring through historic fabric must be avoided when at all possible and accounted for in the design. Anything involving disturbance of historic fabric will go through the COR for compliance.

2.1.1 Task 1 – Establish Design Criteria - Site Visit

The contractor will perform a site visit to Roger Williams National Memorial to determine needs and carry out planning for the work.

Design Criteria Considerations:

• Compliance with ASHRAE, IMC (International Mechanical Code), local building codes, and energy efficiency standards.
