About this file

This document is a comprehensive set of technical specifications for the rehabilitation of the Canyon Village Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) in Yellowstone National Park. The project involves demolishing existing wastewater treatment infrastructure and constructing new facilities, including a Headworks Facility, Bioreactors and Digester Facility, Process Facility, Dewatering Facility, and associated systems. Key components include new buildings for process equipment, membrane systems, chemical feed systems, UV disinfection, blowers, septage receiving, aeration basins, mixed liquor recycle pumps, and advanced control systems with PLCs and SCADA servers.

The project also encompasses rehabilitating existing holding ponds, constructing new lift stations, installing underground utilities, and performing collection system improvements. The work includes demolition of existing structures, installation of new process piping and equipment, electrical and control systems, and comprehensive commissioning and testing of all systems. The contract is part of a federal solicitation (140P2025R0103) managed by the Department of the Interior National Park Service, with the goal of modernizing and improving wastewater treatment infrastructure at Yellowstone National Park's Canyon Village location.
