Statement of Work Summary
This Statement of Work addresses the rebuild of a leaking hydraulic cylinder on a 1995 Ford truck-mounted Manitex Model 956 crane (Serial Number 22353). The contractor is responsible for providing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to disassemble the crane boom, remove and fully disassemble the defective hydraulic cylinder, clean and inspect all components for wear or damage, rebuild the cylinder with repairs or replacements as needed, hone the cylinder tube, replace all seals with new components, reassemble the cylinder, and conduct pressure testing to verify leak-free operation. Upon completion, the contractor shall reinstall the cylinder and reassemble the crane boom to original operating condition.
The performance standard requires the hydraulic cylinder to be restored to proper working condition, free of leaks, and capable of operating within manufacturer specifications using accepted hydraulic repair practices. The deliverable consists of a fully rebuilt and pressure-tested hydraulic cylinder installed on the crane truck with the crane boom reassembled and functioning properly. The statement of work does not include response dates, award dates, pricing terms, set asides, federal agency involvement, or federal contract vehicles.
