PROJECT SPECIFICATIONS SUMMARY
This is a Project Specifications document for the Stinson Beach PV System Upgrade (PMIS 326555), issued by the National Park Service's Golden Gate National Recreation Area in San Francisco, California. The project involves upgrading a photovoltaic system at the Stinson Beach Lift Station located at 45 Willow Camp Way, Stinson Beach, California 94970.
The base work scope requires contractors to remove the existing PV inverter and install a new SolarEdge Home Hub USE7600HUSMNBE78 inverter rated at 7,600 W @ 240 Vac. The inverter must meet PG&E Greenbook specifications, be certified under California Rule 21 for grid interconnection, be compatible with existing P400 optimizers, and be UL listed with integrated safety disconnects. Contractors must provide all installation materials and equipment, coordinate NPS inspections, perform comprehensive testing and commissioning, ensure rapid shutdown compliance per NEC 690.12, and provide a standalone or NPS-compatible monitoring solution. The specifications mandate compliance with NEC, NESC, and local codes, minimal disruption to park operations, and a 10-year warranty on parts and labor. Optional Item 1 includes removal and replacement of 31 existing PV optimizers with compatible units meeting the same standards. Contractors must submit product data, shop drawings, installation manuals, UL/NRTL certificates, commissioning test forms, O&M manuals, and training agendas via email. A site-specific safety plan is required post-award. All work must include proper removal and disposal of old equipment with all associated gaskets, adhesives, and incidental parts furnished by the contractor.
