About this file
This document is a Known Hazards General List for Camp Darby/Darby Military Community, providing a comprehensive overview of potential risks across multiple areas including Camp Darby, Depot, Ammo, and LTA. The hazards catalog identifies numerous safety concerns such as vehicular traffic risks (collision, crushing), pedestrian safety issues, construction site dangers, potential exposure to hazardous materials like asbestos and flammable substances, biological risks from insects and animals, and environmental challenges like poor lighting and irregular road surfaces.
The document includes specific risks for each area, such as the presence of non-Italian speaking personnel leading to potential communication misinterpretations, interaction with security personnel, potential fire hazards, and risks associated with construction activities. The document concludes with emergency contact information, including numbers for medical emergencies (911/118), fire emergencies (117), and guidance to consult the Prevention & Protection Office for detailed risk assessment documents. The list is dated January 2016 and serves as a critical safety reference for personnel operating within the Darby Military Community.
