About this file

This is a Statement of Work for the upfit of three Ford F150 patrol vehicles for Acadia National Park Law Enforcement. The contractor must purchase and install a comprehensive array of law enforcement equipment and accessories, including emergency lighting systems (Whelen FST/2250 Duo Core Package, Tracer Super-LED TRIO running board lights, Ion Duo and T Series LED lightheads), communication and technology systems (Motorola APX 4500 mobile radio units provided by the government, Cradlepoint R920 4G LTE router, Brother PocketJet 8 mobile printer), vehicle-mounted solutions (SRL headache rack, Decked drawer storage system, vehicle-specific console with printer insert, Pro-Gard P1000 prisoner cages, Pro-Gard gun rack, Setina aluminum bumper and headlight guard), and miscellaneous components such as HOWLER speaker systems, mirror lights, headlight flashers, antenna leads, laptop mounting solutions, and a driver license card scanner. All installation labor and post-installation testing are included in the scope.

While Whelen is identified as the preferred brand for continuity and officer safety, equal alternative brands are permitted provided they demonstrate equivalency in their quotes and seamless integration capability with existing systems. The government will provide programmed and field-tested Motorola APX 4500 mobile radio units for installation. Deliverables include three fully upfitted vehicles ready for law enforcement deployment, comprehensive documentation of all installed equipment and warranties, and post-installation inspection sign-off by Acadia National Park representatives. Work commences upon SOW acceptance and vehicle receipt, with completion dates to be coordinated based on project schedule and equipment availability. Acceptance criteria require all installed equipment to meet Acadia National Park and federal law enforcement specifications, successful passage of operational and safety inspections, and project completion confirmation by park law enforcement representatives.
