About this file
This is a Custodial Supplies Specifications Sheet for Yosemite National Park's supply and delivery requirements. Yosemite National Park seeks custodial supplies and materials to support park operations throughout the entire year. The contractor must supply all items listed in Attachment 2 of the solicitation, with Hillyard brand chemicals strongly preferred; substitutions are permitted only if compatible with existing Hillyard chemical mixing stations already in use at the park. All items with Ability One NSN numbers must be provided without substitution per FAR 8.002. Items must be delivered palleted and wrapped within 30 days of award to the NPS warehouse at 5083 Foresta Road, El Portal, California 95318. Offerors must include all shipping costs in their pricing submissions and provide 48-hour advance notice to the Point of Contact prior to delivery. Delivery is restricted to 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday, excluding federal holidays, and requires coordination to ensure staff availability for unloading and acceptance.
Significant logistics constraints apply to this contract. Vehicles exceeding 45 feet in length are prohibited, and one-way controlled traffic applies to all other vehicles on roads 20 miles east of Mariposa due to rockslide repairs, operational 24 hours daily. Additionally, Highway 41 leading to Wawona may close during inclement weather. Offerors should note any longer-than-standard lead times in their quotations. Contractors must contact Brian Roppolo at brian_roppolo@ios.doi.gov if they cannot provide specified items to ensure proposed alternatives meet the National Park Service's operational needs.
