About this file
This is a Register of Wage Determinations under the Service Contract Act issued by the U.S. Department of Labor Employment Standards Administration Wage and Hour Division for Illinois counties (Marshall, Peoria, Stark, Tazewell, and Woodford). The document establishes prevailing wage rates and fringe benefits required for service contracts performed in this geographic area.
The wage determination (No. 2015-5027, Revision 28, effective 5/13/2026) prescribes hourly rates across numerous occupation categories spanning administrative support, clerical, food preparation, maintenance and repair, health care, information technology, instructional, materials handling, protective services, and technical positions. Rates range from $14.80 per hour for entry-level positions such as waiters/waitresses to $48.82 per hour for specialized nursing roles. Fringe benefits include health and welfare coverage at $5.55 per hour (up to 40 hours per week or $222.00 per week), vacation provisions of two weeks after one year of service escalating to four weeks after 20 years, and a minimum of fourteen paid holidays annually. Contractors must furnish uniforms without cost to employees or reimburse actual costs at $1.35 per week, and hazardous duty differentials of 8 percent and 4 percent apply to specific high-risk and low-risk positions respectively. Computer professionals earning at least $27.63 per hour may be exempt from wage determination requirements if they meet specific criteria under the Fair Labor Standards Act. All service contract work performed by contractors in this area must comply with these prevailing wage rates and benefits unless employees qualify for documented exemptions.
