REQUEST FOR QUOTE
Curecanti National Recreation Area Replace Fuel System Pump and Authorization Console at Lake Fork Marina
A. General:
Curecanti National Recreation Area has a requirement for the replacement of existing bulk fuel distribution system components at the Lake Fork Marina. This system serves all the boats that come to Blue Mesa Reservoir in the park. The requirement includes all labor and materials for replacement of One (1) authorization console such as the TMS EZ Console or similar and One (1) single product/ dual hose gasoline dispenser pumps such as the Bennet dual hose dispenser or similar. All system components will be provided and installed by the contractor. The scope will include all labor and materials including electrical wiring and programming required to remove the old dispensers and activation console and replace them with new.
Additionally, the contractor shall dispose of old units off site according to all applicable local and Federal regulations. The contractor shall provide operations and maintenance manuals for console and dispenser pumps as well as provide employee training and orientation to the system functions and routine maintenance procedures.
This project will take place on the docks at the Lake Fork Marina. The contractor will be responsible for all spill control precautions and countermeasures to prevent spillage of fuel into the lake as well as responding to any accidental release of fuel to prevent spread and further contamination.
Summary of project scope:
· Disconnect electrical and product lines at the existing dispensers.
· Remove the dispensers.
· Install new Bennet dual hose dispenser or similar electronic single product, dual hose dispensers with new hoses and nozzle.
· Terminate the electrical and fuel product lines.
· Install a TMS EZ Console or similar site controller and terminate electrical.
· Program, purge and calibrate the dispensers.
· Program the Controller.
· Verify operating functions of the system.
· Complete start-up and standard warranty paperwork.
· Train customer on equipment use.
· Haul off old dispensers and console for disposal
· Service: for warranty work and subsequent service needs, quote must provide a dealer within 24 hours of notice to perform needed service.
B. Replace Fuel Dispenser Pumps/Cabinets at Lake Fork Marina
1. Qty 1: - Remove existing dispenser pumps and cabinets and install new dispenser pump for distribution of Unleaded Gasoline such as Bennet Dual Hose Dispenser or similar. Contractor shall supply dispensers as well as installation. Contractor will remove and dispose of old dispenser off-site according to all applicable regulations. Contractor will provide employee training for operating procedures as well as routine maintenance requirements. Contractor shall provide 2 copies of operating manuals.
i. One pump/dispensers shall be provided for Unleaded Gasoline.
ii. Dispenser shall provide a single product and come equipped for dual hose operation.
iii. Pumps shall have a delivery capacity of at least 20 gallons per minute.
iv. Dispensers shall come configured in “Island Orientation” with hoses mounted on the sides of pump cabinets
v. Electrical requirements shall be 120VAC 60hz, Motors 120/240VAC 50/60 Hz
vi. All Suction pumps shall operate at 110VAC
vii. All Shall include 110VAC 1.5 inch solenoid
viii. Dispensers/pumps shall be compatible with low viscosity petroleum fluids meeting ASTM standards
ix. Inlet connection 1 ½” male NPT
x. Discharge 1” NPT
xi. Pump motors shall produce at least 1 HP and possess thermal overload protection
xii. Shall include 7 digit electromechanical totalizers (non-resettable).
xiii. Dispensers shall include internal filters with 40 GPM/ 151 LPM, 30 micron elements
xiv. Dispenser cabinets shall have lighted product ID panels
xv. Dispenser cabinets shall be constructed of heavy gauge galvanized steel and be weather and corrosion resistant. Must have hinged service doors for maintenance and repair access.
xvi. Dispenser cabinets shall be powder coated for corrosion resistance
xvii. Dispenser cabinets shall be equipped with hose hangars.
xviii. Dispenser Cabinet dimensions shall not exceed 32” in width X 20 “ in depth x 64” in height.
xix. Existing hoses and fueling nozzles will be removed from old dispensers and reused/reinstalled on new dispensers.
xx. During removal and installation procedures, the contractor will follow all applicable laws and regulations as well as conform to the park’s Spill Prevention and Countermeasure (SPCC) plan.
C. Replace Fuel Authorization Console at Lake Fork Marina
1. Remove existing fuel authorization console and replace with a new unit such as the Bennet Dual Hose Dispenser or similar product from another manufacturer. Contractor shall supply console as well as all installation, electrical connection and programming of the new console. Contractor will remove and dispose of the old console according to all local and federal regulations. Contractor shall provide training on system operation as well as routine maintenance procedures. Contractor will provide 2 copies of operations manuals
i. One console shall be provided for installation at the Lake Fork Marina at Curecanti National Recreation Area
ii. Console shall be compatible with fuel dispensers installed in this project specified in Item B of this scope of work.
iii. Console shall be capable of operating One dual hose unleaded gasoline dispenser
iv. Console shall provide an automatic tank gauge
v. Console shall provide interface with new dispensers installed via this project scope
vi. Capability for Point of sale Interface is not required in this project application
vii. Console shall have memory of approximately 4 GB
viii. Console shall be capable of operating in temperatures of 0 degrees F to 90 degrees F
ix. Console shall operate on standard 120VAC power source
C. Provide Testing of Systems and employee training on system operation and maintenance
1. Contractor will provide the park with testing of dispenser pumps and authorization console for proper operation and communications.
2. Contractor will provide training to park staff on system operation and maintenance procedures.
3. Contractor will provide the park with all applicable operation and maintenance/repair manuals as well as as-built drawings and wiring diagrams. Two copies will be provided.
D. Provide Removal and Disposal of Existing Authorization Console and Pump/dispensers
1. Contractor will provide removal of all existing control consoles and fuel pump dispensers prior to installation of new units.
2. Contractor will provide disposal of old consoles and dispensers according to all applicable laws and regulations.
3. Contractor will provide the park with advice on any reusable parts and will provide a report of these for the park to use in annual sustainability reports.
Service calls for the installed system will require a 24-hour turn-around time. Provide information on your nearest authorized service dealer.
