SITE VISIT INFORMATION

The National Park Service invites you to attend a site inspection to provide all material, labor, and supervision for removal of hazardous and potentially hazardous trees: trim, cut, set stump in place, grind, remove, and or chip approximately 35 trees and/or associated debris piles located in designated areas of Ocmulgee Mounds National Historical Park (see MAP 1 and MAP 2) at Ocmulgee Mounds National Historical Park is in Macon, Georgia. The Site Visit will be held at the time and place listed below:

LOCATION:

Ocmulgee Mounds National Historical Park 1207 Emery Highway Macon, GA 31217 TIME: 10:00am. (EDT) DATE: Wednesday June 28, 2023

The purpose of this inspection is for interested parties to ascertain the local conditions of the grounds at each location, which could materially affect conduct of operations and the cost thereof. All questions must be submitted electronically in writing to the Contracting Officer at the email address below NO LATER THAN 1:00pm (ED) on Friday June 30, 2023 (No telephonic questions will be accepted). A summary of questions and answers arising from the site inspection and/or review of the package will be provided to all prospective contractors as an amendment to the solicitation. Only those written answers provided to all offerors will be the Government's official response to questions.

Information provided at this site visit shall not qualify the terms and conditions of the solicitation and specifications. No oral questions will be accepted. Terms of the solicitation and specifications remain unchanged unless the solicitation is amended in writing. If an amendment is issued, normal procedures relating to the acknowledgment and receipt of solicitation amendments shall apply.

All questions must be submitted to the Contracting Officer at: edward_dingle@nps.gov

We consider attendance at this site inspection vital to the preparation of a competitive and cost-effective quote, and to understand the total result desired by the Government. Failure to attend this inspection may not be used as an excuse for omissions or miscalculations in technical or price proposals. It is again emphasized that it is most advantageous for each contractor to have qualified representation at the site inspection. Coordination for attending the site visit shall be made through the site visit point of contact listed below. *NO individual site inspections will be offered nor conducted. All parties who plan to attend the site visit must RSVP with the point of contact below.
