STATEMENT OF WORK WEST DESERT DISTRICT, UTAH
FILLMORE ADMINISTRATIVE SITE REPAIRS BUREAU OF LAND MANAGEMENT
Statement of Work for
Fillmore Administrative Site Repairs
Bureau of Land Management
West Desert District
Fillmore Field Office
Millard County, Utah
March 2025
STATEMENT OF WORK WEST DESERT DISTRICT, UTAH
FILLMORE ADMINISTRATIVE SITE REPAIRS BUREAU OF LAND MANAGEMENT
1. INTRODUCTION
The Fillmore Field Office complex is composed of the Field Office building, warehouse, shop, covered storage and four additional outbuildings. The Field Office was constructed in 2010 along with a remodel contract that took place on the warehouse and shop. Since that time there has been limited maintenance performed on these buildings.
All three buildings are in good condition but are now in need of maintenance and equipment renewal to prolong their useful life.
2.0 SCOPE
This project will consist of providing all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision to re-finish and paint interior damaged walls, replace countertop bullnose pieces that have separated, replace identified plumbing fixtures, install a new water softener and associated water lines, replace motors, condensers, belts, and filters on 4 rooftop HVAC units, replace door hardware and exterior lights, lamps, and ballasts.
3.0 TASKS
The following tasks shall be performed at locations specified below as well as in the contract drawings:
Fillmore Field Office Building:
1. Replace door hardware including locksets, exit devices, and openers on 4 interior wood doors and 1 exterior hollow metal door.
2. Patch, re-finish, and re-paint approximately 1,800 square feet of sheetrock as identified on the project drawings.
3. Repair/re-attach approximately 335 linear feet of Dupont, Corian Rice Paper solid surface countertop bullnose.
4. Replace fan motors, inducer motors, A/C compressors, compressor fan motors, belts and filters on 4 Carrier roof top HVAC units.
5. Replace ventilation fans in restrooms, janitorial closet, and shower room.
6. Replace natural gas on-demand water heater.
7. Replace waterless urinal with watersense certified low flow urinal, run associated water supply and repair sheetrock walls where water lines are run.
8. Replace utility sink faucet in janitorial closet.
9. Replace aerators on 4 restroom faucets.
10. Replace shower head and shower cartridge.
11. Install a new water softener and run new 1 inch insulated copper lines to isolate drinking fountain water supply.
12. Replace four exterior LED cutoff lights over entrance doors.
13. Replace pulse start metal halide lamps and ballasts on 8 exterior pole mount lights.
14. Replace three wall mounted fluorescent light lamps and ballasts on exterior sign.

15. Replace compact fluorescent lights with LED lights on 12 exterior pathway bollards.
16. Remove in-ground flag light and replace with two LED flood lights.
Fillmore Warehouse:
1. Replace water closet in warehouse restroom with new water sense type called out in specifications.
2. Replace under sink 2.5 gallon electric water heater.
3. Replace restroom ventilation fan.
4. Replace locksets on two exterior doors.
1. Replace two exterior cutoff lights over entrance doors.
2. Replace three exterior motion sensor flood lights.
Fillmore Shop
3. Replace locksets on two exterior doors.
4. Add overhead garage door infrared safety eyes on 4 garage doors.
5. Replace two exterior cutoff lights over entrance doors.
6. Replace three exterior motion sensor flood lights.
Contractor will be responsible for ensuring that all work complies with applicable building codes and the requirements of the project documents. Contractor shall also be responsible for coordinating work so that interference with on-going Government work will be minimized in all buildings throughout the period of performance of this contract. All buildings will be fully occupied by the Government throughout the duration of the work.
Contractor shall also be responsible for protecting all adjacent surfaces, flooring, fixtures, etc, while performing the work of this contract. Any damage shall be repaired or replaced at the Contractors expense.
4.0 PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE
It is anticipated that a contract will be awarded in early August of 2025 with a period of performance of 90 days.
5.0 WORK LOCATION
The work location is at the Fillmore Field Office located at 95 East 500 North Fillmore Utah, 84631.
