About this file

This is a Register of Wage Determinations under the Service Contract Act issued by the U.S. Department of Labor Employment Standards Administration Wage and Hour Division. The document establishes prevailing wage rates for service contracts in Nevada counties including Elko, Eureka, Humboldt, Lander, Pershing, White Pine, and applies to Wage Determination No. 2015-5601, Revision 27, effective as of December 3, 2025.

The wage determination lists over 300 occupational classifications across multiple job families with corresponding hourly rates ranging from $11.21 to $69.73. All listed occupations receive fringe benefits of $5.55 per hour (up to 40 hours per week or $222.00 per week/$962.00 per month), plus an alternative rate of $5.09 per hour under Executive Order 13706 for paid sick leave purposes. Employees are entitled to two weeks paid vacation after one year of service, three weeks after five years, and four weeks after 15 years, along with a minimum of eleven paid holidays annually. Special provisions apply to computer professionals (footnote 1), air traffic controllers and weather observers receiving night and Sunday pay differentials (footnote 2), and hazardous pay differentials of 4-8 percent for employees working with explosives and ordnance. Uniform allowance provisions permit reimbursement at $3.35 per week when uniforms reduce hourly rates below wage determination minimums. The document includes a conformance process for unlisted classifications requiring contractors to submit proposed wage rates and job descriptions to the Department of Labor within 30 days of performing work by such employees, following procedures outlined in 29 CFR 4.6(b)(2).
