About this file
This document contains a justification for a sole source contract award and a related federal contract opportunity notice. The Bureau of Reclamation intends to award a sole source, firm fixed price contract to the local utility company to construct infrastructure for connecting the agency's Buffalo Bill Maintenance Shop in Wyoming to the utility's existing electrical lines. As the proprietor of the power lines in the area, the utility is the only source able to perform the work. Interested parties had until February 5, 2024 to identify their capabilities, though the notice states the award will be sole source based on responses. The contract specialist is to determine price fairness by comparing historical and market prices.
