Overall Facility Technologies
Wiring/Infrastructure:
Will run cat6 to microphone location.
Conference Room Scheduling:
Both Project Managers will coordinate, and schedule time needed for each conference room to be available for upgrade.
Project Managers ensure the forms necessary for access are completed in a timely manner.
Network:

Equipment) responsible for LAN.
(MCAAP-Owner Furnished Equipment) provided network devices such as printers, scanners, PCs, laptops, or any device not explicitly necessary for system installation and commissioning are not covered by standard installation and are not guaranteed for functionality. (MCAAP-Owner Furnished Equipment) responsible for setup and configuration of any network device that was not specified.
NOTE: Internet speeds vary greatly depending upon ISP, time of day, number of hosts, and environmental factors.
Note: The physical installation of any high voltage requires a licensed electrician. This requires coordination with MCAAP’s electricians install all needed high voltage outlets, dimmer/switches, thermostats, light fixtures originally specified for maximum efficiency.
Programming Scope
Control of system through touch panels, handheld remotes, and control system apps are subject to features provided by manufacturer. Custom features and available custom programming shall be agreed upon and signed off by client prior to programming. Project Manager will provide a copy of compiled code for backup purposes.
Project Requirements for Successful Project Deployment:
Displays (Including Projectors)
· Displays will be installed as monitors only.
· Embedded apps in the TV’s native interface will not be integrated into the system.
· Network features will not be integrated into the system.
· The control system will only manage power and input selection.
· Auto-update features will be disabled. Any manual updates that result in reprogramming will incur additional charges.
· Displays will be set to factory-standard formats and picture presets.
· Network connections will be used solely for system control.
· The control system will set the display into "art mode" when powered off, but all other features, including art settings, are the client's responsibility using the factory remote.
Client will be limited to using the factory remote provided by the manufacturer to download art and adjust art feature settings.
Audio/Video Receivers (AVRs)
· Network features like music apps, file sharing, and streaming will not be integrated into the system.
· AVRs will be set up using the supplied configuration microphone. If the microphone is unavailable, the installer will configure the AVR manually at their discretion.
Video Distribution
· The standard installation of video switching systems applies to splitters, single display switchers, matrix switchers, and video over IP systems.
· Switching between video sources can take up to five seconds or more, depending on the source device (comcast, direct tv, roku, etc).
· Video sources will default to the lowest video format available across all displays unless the system supports auto-scaling. In that case, the highest compatible video format will be used.
· Not all formats are universally compatible with video switching systems. The highest compatible format will be configured based on system capabilities.
· Systems that lack audio down-mixing will output stereo sound to AVRs. Dedicated surround sound sources may be used where applicable, but they will not be available on the switching system.
· Audio down-mixing switching systems will require a decoder for both the AVR and corresponding display.
· Video switching systems will only control connected video sources. Apps on displays will not be accessible via video switching systems.
Audio Distribution
· Whether video sources are available on the audio system will be outlined in the scope of work. Not all video sources may be available on the audio matrix system.
· The scope of work will also specify which music streaming applications or sources are available on the system.
· Music streaming apps on AVRs and displays will not be available on audio distribution systems unless stated otherwise.
· The number of audio zones available will be defined in the scope of work.
Licenses
Client is responsible for all subscriptions and licenses associated with the control system.
Client-Provided Logins
Clients are responsible for managing their streaming service logins. Logic Integration will assist with login entry for up to three apps per streaming device. Additional login support will be billable beyond the initial setup and will be charged to the client.
DSP (Digital Signal Processor)
· DSPs will be set up for basic input/output configuration (e.g., microphone input, source input, line output to an amplifier).
· DSPs will be configured for basic mixing of inputs and will not support third-party manipulation.
Microphones
· Microphones will be configured for optimal (best-possible) coverage.
· Client manipulation of microphone sensitivity, volume, or band steering will not be provided.
Cameras
· Cameras will be configured for basic audience or speaker coverage.
· Where applicable, cameras will be set for auto-tracking; however, Logic cannot guarantee accuracy of auto-tracking capabilities.
· Camera preset or configuration adjustments require a control system.
Speakers
· Speakers will be configured for proper coverage at moderate volume levels.
· Volume adjustments and manipulation will require a control system.
Installation warranty
· Replacement warranty 6 month from date of completion. MFG and Equipment warranties may vary and fix/repair/replace parts.
Video Conferencing Software: (MCAAP-Owner Furnished Equipment) will be responsible for all needed licenses in the locations listed above in Room.
Details. All licenses are needed at time of installation and commissioning.
High Voltage: Only licensed individuals will install high-voltage. NOTES/LIST OF ANY
REQUIREMENTS NEEDED FOR PROJECT.
NOTE: The cost of any installation needed by an electrician is not included in scope of work.
Cable/Satellite: The (MCAAP-Owner Furnished Equipment) must set up an active account with a cable/satellite provider prior to project deployment. This proposal calls for a minimum of ___56_(please provide number) cable/satellite boxes for the audio/video distribution system.
Travel: Travel costs can be an estimate. Actual travel cost will be reimbursed upon invoice and project completion.
