PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE:
The National Park Service, Arizona Major Acquisition Buying Office, intends to issue a Request for Quote (RFQ) for the Installation of Heating and Cooling Systems for the Herbicide/Seed Storage at Canyon De Chelly National Monument.
Work will consist of installing heating/cooling unit that the park as already acquired. Work may include but is not limited to demolition and new construction of electrical system protective devices, plumbing, fire protection, structural and industrial hygiene code and specifications.
SOLICITATION NUMBER: 140P1524Q0075
PROJECT MAGNITUDE: Less than $25,000.00
TYPE OF CONTRACT: This will be a firm-fixed price contract expected to be awarded to a prime contractor by late July 2024 with performance to begin in early August.
Construction Wage Rate Requirements for Apache County, AZ will apply.
EVALUATION FACTORS: Technical, Prior Experience, and Price
North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) CODE CLASSIFICATION and SET ASIDE: The NAICS Code is 238220, and the size standard is $19 million.
This project is set aside 100% for Total Small Businesses.
SITE VISIT: A site visit has been scheduled for Monday, July 17, 2024 at 12pm Arizona Time.
Location: Canyon de Chelly National Monument; located Northeastern, Arizona, about 3 miles East from the Highway 191 on Indian Route 7 Visitor Center. Project location is the Maintenance bullpen Yard which is located Southwest side of Cottonwood Campgrounds.

PUBLICIZING: The official solicitation and its attachments will be issued and available mid July 2024 and will be posted to the Contract Opportunities/SAM.gov website at https://sam.gov/content/opportunities .
The contracting office will not provide hardcopies or email copies of the solicitation.
REGISTRATIONS: In order to be awarded a contract, an offeror must have an UEI number.
Also, the offeror must be registered and active in the System for Award Management (SAM), website at http://www.sam.gov, and have completed their Online Representations and Certifications at the time of the solicitation close date once the solicitation is posted.
