About this file
This document is a Notice of Award for an Invitation for Bid (IFB) issued by the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS) for a contract to provide software, implementation, training, and ongoing maintenance and support for DCFS-owned LiveScan mobile fingerprint scanners. The contract is an indefinite quantity contract to be used on an as-needed basis, with a 3-year initial term and two 1-year renewal options. DCFS has purchased 41 FBI-certified mobile fingerprint scanners as part of a pilot project. The contract was awarded to DataWorks Plus of Greenville, SC, with a not-to-exceed (NTE) value of $1,000,000 over the potential 5-year term.
The pricing details show the initial 3-year term and renewal pricing for the three unsuccessful bidders. The utilization plan indicates 5% participation by a Business Enterprise Program (BEP) vendor, with no Veterans Business Program (VBP) participation. The award was made to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder.
