About this file

This document is a Questions and Answers (Q&A) file issued by the Illinois Department of Central Management Services for the JPMC Chicago Parking Zones 1, 2, 3 procurement (Solicitation Number 25-416CMS-BOSS4-B-46751). The specific Q&A addresses a bidder's inquiry about parking space allocation for Zone 2, confirming that the required parking spaces can be distributed across multiple garages within a defined geographic boundary. The boundary for Zone 2 is precisely defined as Wacker Drive on the west, Madison Street on the north, Jackson Boulevard to the south, and State Street to the east.

The Q&A clarifies a critical implementation detail for potential bidders, specifically that multi-level parking facilities and surface parking lots meeting the zone's geographic requirements can be used to fulfill the contract's parking space requirements. This provides flexibility for bidders in meeting the 300-space requirement for Zone 2, allowing them to aggregate parking spaces across different facilities within the specified downtown Chicago area, as long as the facilities are located within the designated zone boundaries.
