Q7
In reviewing the amendment with the Questions and Answers today I see an error on the stated volumes.
Q4 and A4.
2 lpm per bed = 120 lph (liters per hour), 120 lph x 70 beds = 8,400 lph for all 70 8,400 lph x 24 hrs = 201,600 liters per day. Not per month but per day.
201,600 *30 days = 6,048,000
Based upon those estimates I believe the volume for your gas suppliers’ references would be converted to gallons as such.
6,048,000 gaseous liters, 28.32 liters per cubic ft. =6,048,000 / 28.32 = 213,559 cubic ft.
115.1 cubic ft. per gallon of liquid Oxygen at STP = roughly 1,855 gallons per month
A7
Reference A4—For 70 beds it would be 6,720 liters per day. 210,600 liters per month for 70 beds is correct at the DVA Illinois Veterans Home at Chicago, 4250 N. Oak Park Ave., Chicago, IL 60634.
