About this file
This document is an attachment to a solicitation issued by the Illinois Emergency Management Agency (IEMA) for the delivery of nitrogen and other gases, as well as related tank rental services, to various nuclear power plant locations in Illinois. The solicitation includes seven mandatory specifications that vendors must meet, including requirements for weekly deliveries, compliance with nuclear power plant safety protocols, no minimum order quantities, invoicing for cylinders, the ability to provide all required gases and tanks, and clearance for access to the power plant protected areas. The contract term is anticipated to be 1 year.
The pricing terms require that all charges for gases, tank rentals, fees, and delivery be included in the pricing tables provided. There are no set-asides mentioned, and the incumbent provider is not identified. The funding source and requirements are not specified in the attachment. Overall, this solicitation seeks to establish a contract for the reliable and compliant delivery of necessary gases and tank rental services to support the operations of Illinois' nuclear power plants.
