The IFB requests bids for the purchase of Summit Bti Briquets, with a quantity of 4,800 cases of 100 briquets per case. Each briquet treats 100 square feet, and each case treats 10,000 square feet. Questions and Answers #1 6/7/21

Q1
I have a quantity question about the aforementioned bid. Specifically, for Item #5: Summit Bti Briquets. The quantity is listed as 4,800. Is that 4,800 mean cases of 100 briquets or does it mean 4,800 (individual) briquets?
A1
Please reference the Contract Section 1.5.2. The minimum order is one (1) case for F.O.B. Destination net per location in standard order package quantities only. Quantity 4,800 mean cases of 100 briquets. Each Briquet treats 100 Square feet. Each case treats 10,000 square feet.
Q2
How is the BEP Goal percentage calculated?
A2
The BEP goal is calculated based on the number of BEP certified vendors under a specific NIGP Code divided by the total number of vendors overall who are registered in BidBuy, the State of Illinois’ eProcurement System, for the same NIGP Code.
