About this file

This document is an Emergency Purchase Statement issued by the State of Illinois Chief Procurement Office. It details an emergency purchase of Oracle software maintenance and support services for the Department of Innovation and Technology (DoIT). DoIT, in agreement with the Chief Procurement Officer for General Services, desires to purchase these services to continue support for various Oracle databases and applications used by several state agencies, including the EPA, DPH, Tollway, and State Police. This emergency contract will be for the same terms and conditions as the current expiring emergency contract, and will be available for use by DoIT, governmental units, and qualified not-for-profit agencies.

The expected start date for this emergency contract is April 1, 2021, with an expected end date of May 31, 2021. The estimated total expenditure is $2,000,000. The funding source is unspecified. This emergency purchase is necessary to prevent disruption in critical state services that affect health, safety, or collection of substantial state revenues, as the current emergency contract cannot be extended beyond its expiration on March 31, 2021.
