21-416CMS-BOSS4-B-17833 HERMAN MILLER FURNITURE QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS

Q1: Is the BEP Goal for the term of the contract or by year, or is it by purchase order?

A1: It is for the term of the contract.

Q2: In terms of the NIGP codes, if I want to use a subcontractor to meet the BEP Goal who is BEP certified, but is not certified under the NIGP Codes associated with this solicitation, but they can perform the work, are they disqualified from participating?

A2: Any subcontractor that you want to use to fulfill the BEP Goal, must be certified with BEP in the NIGP Codes associated with the solicitation prior to submitting your bid.

Q3: Are subcontractors only a subcontractor if the value is $50,000 or more? So if we don't think the value of our agreement is going to be $50,000 or more, then we would not need to ask the subcontractor to complete the disclosure documents?

A3: If the value of the subcontract is less than $50,000 per year, the subcontractor is not required to complete the Forms A or Forms B Disclosures.
