About this file

This is an Award Notice issued by the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) regarding the procurement of a Magventure MagPro X100 Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) system. The solicitation, numbered 5400029926, was posted on July 10, 2026, with offers originally due on July 6, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. EST. The procurement seeks one new Magventure MagPro X100 TMS system or approved equivalent to be delivered within sixty days of purchase order receipt to the College of Health Professions Building D at MUSC's Charleston campus. The system must support single pulse, paired pulse, and repetitive TMS protocols, including theta burst stimulation, with advanced cooling capability to maintain functionality during accelerated treatment days. Required components include motor mapping and cooled figure-8 and double-cone coils with sham treatment capability, external triggering support, a treatment chair with head stabilization, and compatibility with neuronavigation solutions. The award date was initially scheduled for July 10, 2026; however, the notice indicates that additional time is necessary to complete the procurement process, and the award posting date has been extended indefinitely pending revision notices provided at least three business days in advance to all registered offerors.

The award will be made to the lowest responsible and responsive bidder based on unit pricing. All offerors must be registered as South Carolina state vendors and must certify compliance with debarment, ethics, drug-free workplace, and independent price determination requirements. Contractor personnel must obtain MUSC identification badges at contractor expense, including background checks and possible drug and tuberculosis testing. The contract includes standard South Carolina terms governing payment, disputes, termination for convenience, and warranty obligations. Technical support must be available within 24 business hours of request, and one operational manual must be provided with the equipment. Raymond T. Brindle serves as the Procurement Officer managing this solicitation.
