Recommendation: RTI
Source of Funding: ESSR
Comments as to why the Vendor was chosen: They provided the second lowest price point for the RFP, and they are the vendor that won the bid the last time we purchased chromebooks. We purchased 800 chromebooks from RTI in
April of 2022. Those machines are still under the same accidental damage and protection plan that this purchase would utilize. That would allow us to stick with a trusted vendor and have 1100 machines under warranty with the same company, making repair claims much easier to track and handle, while also allowing us to have the same brand and model machine in the hands of almost every student. This would also help troubleshooting problems.
