About this file

This is a bid response form for the School Board of Sarasota County, Florida, for Automotive/Light Truck Repair Parts under Bid #26-0124. The School Board intends to establish a one-year agreement with the successful bidder to provide firm percentage discounts on new OEM parts or new in-house parts across specified product categories. The document serves as a standardized response package that bidders must complete and submit with their proposals, containing multiple attachments addressing small/minority business enterprise certification, emergency response capabilities, principal place of business documentation, and bidding preference disclosures required under Florida Statutes.

The form requires bidders to declare their small business enterprise (SBE) or minority business enterprise (MBE) status, including certifications from the Florida Department of Management Services, Office of Supplier Diversity, or self-reporting if applicable. Bidders must provide detailed information regarding any subcontractors, including their S/MBE designations and estimated dollar values. Additionally, bidders must commit to providing goods and services on a first-priority basis during public emergencies, hurricanes, or disasters, with 24-hour emergency contact information required. Out-of-state bidders must provide legal opinions from their state attorneys regarding any bidding preferences granted by their state or political subdivision. The form emphasizes bidder responsibility to identify their principal place of business and comply with all applicable state and local procurement regulations.
