About this file
This document is Addendum No. 1 to the RFQ/RFP for Design-Build Services for Augusta University's 15th Street Parking Deck project (Project No. PPV-40-2201) in Augusta, Georgia, issued on February 24, 2022. The addendum provides clarifications to the original solicitation regarding Design-Build experience requirements, project site information, geotechnical investigations, scope of work inclusions, and submittal documentation. Design-Build experience of the entire team, including Design & Engineering firms, is eligible and counts toward 45% of the scoring criteria. The experience requirement of 75% or more similarity is measured in dollars, with number of parking spaces considered as supporting evidence of similar scope and scale. Site plans and maps showing the project extent relative to neighboring residential halls (Oak and Elm) and access roads will be provided to shortlisted firms at a later date. Current geotechnical information is not available and will need to be completed as part of the project scope.
The addendum clarifies that scope of work items including signage, gating, security cameras, water tap fees, and electrical service are included in the budget, with temporary parking excluded. Transformer relocation costs, if required to support design or construction, must be covered within the project budget. Electric vehicle charging stations are encouraged but not required, and ParkSmart certification is not mandated. Parking enforcement methods remain to be determined. The bonding capacity requirement of $10,100,000 aligns with State Construction Manual standards, requiring performance and payment bonds equal to at least 100% of the GMP Cost Limitation. Item A6 requirements for financial and bonding information apply to both the architect and contractor as team members, with the contract to be awarded to the construction firm serving as the Design-Build entity. Exhibit G (Disclosure Statement) is the correct submittal document for the DB Services RFQ/RFP and is available on the Georgia Procurement Registry website, distinct from the separate Program Manager Services solicitation for the same project.

Can you please confirm if Exhibit G and Exhibit F are the same and we should submit Exhibit F? If not, can you please provide Exhibit G?
Answer 10:
Exhibit G is available under the documents tab of the posting on the Georgia Procurement Registry website and is labeled correctly in the document title. The Word document file name is 2247200PPV-40- 2201-DB281974. Be sure not to mix up the RFQ/RFP for Design Build (DB) Services and RFQ/RFP for Program Manager (PM) Services. Both are currently active and apply to the same project yet they are separate documents with different requirements and different associated documents. Please submit Exhibit G as provided in the documents tab when responding to the RFQ for DB services.
